I went to Walgreens at Colfax & Sheridan today and bought 3 of the Reach double packs that were marked on the shelf as 3/$9 and with the $6 RR. I used my $3/3 cpn at the register, but the RR didn’t come out. When the manager came to help, he said the problem was that when I use a cpn, I can’t get the Register Rewards.
I was like “whoa whoa whoa, I’ve done this at least two dozen times.” I just started couponing a few months ago but I have used a cpn on a Register Rewards deal many many times. He was wrong, right? Should I complain to a regional manager? What do you all think?
I would agree that you should have received the register rewards. The RRs are usually based on how many items you purchase or the amount you spend(before coupons). It doesn’t matter if you use coupons, however you can’t pay for the items with RR and earn RRs…does that make sense? I would keep your receipt and ask another manager about it.
