I don’t do a weekly shopping list for Safeway, but I noticed their 3 Day Sale for Labor Day and wanted to mention a couple items which caught my eye. If you’re planning on shopping there, go early in the week(Sunday-Tuesday) and make sure you spend at least $20.00-I don’t shop at Safeway, so can one of you answer whether the $20 is before or after coupons? Here are the items that caught my eye:
1 Gal Milk $.99-with in-ad coupon
Kraft Singles $.99-I believe you can use a manufacturer coupon($1.00 off 2 from RP 8/9) with this and get two for $.98

I shop at Safeway quite often. The $20 is before coupons. Most of the safeway coupons are limit 1 so you probably can not get 2 Kraft Singles for .98. You’ll get one at the .99 price and one at the regular price.
Here are some really good deals at Safeway this week:
Bushs Best Baked Beans 28 oz $1.50
CapriSun Drinks 10 Pk $1.79. There are or were $1/3 blinkies so final price is $1.46
Ranchers Reserve Ribeye Steak per lb $4.97
A great deal right now on the Ribeye is the weekly ad has a $5 off of $20 meat coupon. The steaks are in packs of 4 and come out to around 4 pounds for a total of around $20-$25. Using the coupon makes the final pricer per lb about 3.99. You can get the weekly ad with coupon at their customer service desk. I’ve got a couple packs of these this week.
Safeway also has $5 off of $50 coupons in the Entertainment Book. The $50 is after Safeway coupons and before manufacturer coupons.
