Whew, what a busy but fun week! My mom and grandparents left today. We had a great time while they were here, and I have a lot of deals to get out to you all.
My grandma brought a bunch of apples from her neighbor and my aunt and uncles apple trees so we were busy baking! I have 5 quart sized bags of applesauce in the freezer. We also made two apple pies and two batches of banana bread. I made one regular loaf of banana bread, two mini loaves, and a pan of mini muffins. We went to see my brother last night and brought him some of the pie, banana bread, and applesauce. I also sent a mini loaf of banana bread with my in-laws when they stopped by Tuesday. It’s so fun to bake a bunch and be able to share! I have a few more apples left in the fridge so I’ll be baking either an apple crisp or pie(maybe even both!)
Anywas, just wanted to give you an update that I’ll be back at it tomorrow with a lot of great deals. I’m trying to get caught up at my house and spending time with my kids. I know my two year old will be really needy today(not as much attention now that everybody is gone!) so I’m going to take the rest of the afternoon ‘off’ and will see you all tomorrow!
