Hi Mom!!

I found this website from a guy from Philipines I think. http://emptyage.honan.net/mth/2007/10/how-to-eat-a-po.html

In Mexico we just cut the top first and then from the middle to keep all the seeds. I love them on top of “chiles rellenos” covered with a mix of sour cream and pecans. When you blend them cover the stuffed peppers and then garnish with the pomegranate and serve warm!! Yumm!! These are the traditional “Chiles Poblanos” because they are originary from Puebla city.

I wish there was a Rancho down in the south part of town!

Re: Pomegranates: I think you just whack them against a counter and break them open. I bought one once a few years ago, but it perplexed me so much that I never have again!

Nicole-do you get their weekly ad? If so try price matching at Walmart or Target.
I love going into Rancho and am so glad we have one pretty close(we have to drive a bit to get to anything!).
Thanks-I’ll have to try giving it a whack! I know they are awesome for us-the insides scare me as what to do with them! Have a great evening

Madeline-
Great, thank you! Looks very easy-love how they sink and the rind floats. Thanks for the link!! They sound great over chile rellenos! I’ll have to try it sometime! Have a great evening!
