JCPenney is starting a new loyalty program. The great part is we benefit right off the bat. Instead of carrying another rewards card they have you put a credit or debit card on file. You’ll no longer have to give your phone number at every visit either. Swipe your card at the register and they’ll have the information they need. And, the bonus points will be added to your reward account.

If you don’t feel comfortable keeping your credit card information on file you could always use a prepaid shopping card(like the mall gift cards since they are usually a VISA card).
