I learned today that King Soopers will only take 4 of the same coupon per transaction! Not sure if you knew this or not, but thought I would share!

I’m just curious – am I not seeing something here, or do you not have Safeway deals listed on here? I know they don’t often have that great of deals…but sometimes they do. Just wondering.

Danielle November 4, 2009 at 4:01 pm

Sabrina,

I don’t have a Safeway list. I don’t get a flyer each week(because there isn’t one close to me…I’m assuming). I’ve thought about doing it and have posted before asking if people were interested. I didn’t have any takers. The website isn’t very user-friendly so it would be hard to do the match-ups by using the online ad. Feel free to pass any info on if you see some great deals. Thanks!

Thanks Jenn,
Next time try doing two transactions if you have more than 4 coupons. I will be posting all of the store coupon policies SOON. Hope you were still able to get some great deals!

That’s interesting that you don’t get Safeway ads. I thought Safeway was everywhere!! We do get the Safeway ads each week, and there are 3 stores within a 3 mile radius from my house. They do have a good deal on cereal this week, but it seems like they can go months without having any really significant sales. Then there will be a month straight of awesome deals.

Jenn – just FYI – King Soopers just started a lousy policy a few months ago that you can’t use more than 3 like coupons in a transaction. So LAME!! I can sometimes sneak 4 coupons in, but I’ve never tried more than that. It’s really irritating, but we find ways around it, like just stopping by the store a few times during the week to get everything. I just stop on my way to pick up kids from school, so it’s not a big deal to make a few stops during the week when there is a particularly good deal.

Fresh Selection salad is buy 1 get 1 free so it’s $2.79 with the sale. The packages at my KS in Fort Collins had coupons on them for save $1 now. I got 2 pkgs of salad for 79 cents!

Thanks Carol! Has anyone seen the peelies at any of the Denver locations?
