Saturday Spending Recap

by Danielle on November 7, 2009

There were so many great deals over the past week that I had to go shopping.  I shared some of the deals here earlier this week.  I will probably make it to KingSooper one more time before the Mega Ten Event ends.

Here is where my $40 budget went for the week:

Target- $7.21-Kashi Go Lean Crunch(2), (2) Degree women’s deodorants, Halloween candy(3 bags), Keebler cookies (3pks)

KingSooper $2.86-Carnation Evaporated Milk(4), Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter(2), Playtex Gloves(2), Kotex(2)

KingSooper $19.83-click here to see what I purchased

Albertsons $10.45-click here to see what I purchased-Plus I have $2 toward my next purchase

KingSooper-$4.19 Activia Yogurt, Danimals yogurt, Snuggle Fabric Softener, Colgate toothpaste, Swiss Miss, Playtex Gloves, Nestle Chocolate Chips, 2liter Cherry Coke, Carnation Evaporated Milk(2)

Weekly Total $44.54

Monthly Total To-Date-$104.86

I’m slightly under budget, but my monthly budget doesn’t start over until the 20th so I’ll have $55 dollars for the next week and a half.

I plan on stocking up on chicken breast($1.27lb), Hamburger($1.77lb), and Pork Roast ($.99lb) for sure.

Hopefully after the 21st(baking day) I will have a full freezer and won’t have to spend much the month of December.  We get to spend some time with family in South Dakota and Iowa so I’m hoping to use some of the grocery budget to pay for meals on our trip over Christmas.

Are you finding great deals for Thanksgiving?  What deals are you finding for your feast?!

I love how did this post. I think I’m going to do something kinda the same if you don’t mind.

Hugs,
