Last Saturday I had the urge to hit a Thrift Store so I headed to Mile High Thrift Store in Commerce City. I had been there once with a friend but didn’t have time to look around very much. Saturday I had a little more time and enjoyed myself very much. Below is what I was able to find.

I paid around $16 total for all of it. The basket was $4.95, the Ralph Lauren Sweater was $4.95, the shoes were $1.95, and the bowl was $4. I paid a little more for the sweater and bowl than I would’ve liked, but I love off-white pottery and want to increase my collection a little more. It’s a fun piece to put some green apples or pears into to add a pop of color to my kitchen.
If I would have bought these items in a store the basket alone would have cost at least $20. You can save a lot of money if you browse around and shop second hand. I also picked up a shirt and 2 pair of pants for my 9 month daughter.
What thrift stores do you shop at in the Denver area? In your opinion, where are the best deals? I haven’t had as much time as I would like to browse thrift stores, and I don’t know for sure where to go. Any suggestions?!

I go to Unique thrift store in Arvada. It’s on the corner of 88th and Sheridan. Every Monday EVERYTHING is on sale for 25% off. Then on holidays everything is 50% off. I usually can find clothes for my son on the holiday days for a dollar fifty or less. It’s great. The store is huge with lots of things to pick through.
Thanks Amy-I’ll have to check it out next time I’m in Arvada.
I, like Amy, go to the Unique Thrift store but mine is in Aurora. I LOVE it. Much better set up than goodwill and the sales are just the same- Mondays are 25% off and holidays are 50% off. I have found some beauties!
I’m excited to find one of these Unique Thrift Stores! Wahoo!
Hi! My sister and I love Family Thrift store. There is one in Aravda on 66th and Wads. The other one we like is on 37th and Kipling.
