Saturday Spending Recap

by Danielle on December 12, 2009

I was grateful for the snow!  It kept me home from Sunday afternoon until Thursday evening so I didn’t spend much!  By Thursday I was stir crazy and needed out so I ran to a few stores.  This is what I spent:

piggybank

Target: $2.63-Hot cocoa(free), 2 lemons, slinky(stocking stuffer), and light bulbs.

Dollar Tree-$2.08-2 pkgs of frozen blueberries-I must say I’ve been pleased with these.  I keep buying them because my son LOVES them!

Walgreens-$2.52-4 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal, 2 Triaminic strips, 1 gal milk, and I treated myself to a 20 oz Cherry Coke which thankfully tasted awful since I hadn’t had any for almost a week. Note-the Triaminic went onto our flex spending card so that’s why I only paid $2.52 out of the grocery budget.  The original total was $9.04

Weekly Total-$7.23

Month-to-Date-$152.81

I have about $7 left for this coming week.  A friend from church brought some diapers she no longer needed which will carry us through until the 20th!-thanks Tracy!  I need some fresh produce and will head to the Oroweat Bakery Outlet for a loaf or two of whole wheat bread for $1 each!-Did I mention I love that place?! :)

I am new here – where is the Oroweat outlet?

The one I go to is on 120th about 6 blocks west of Colorado. There are a few different ones. I typed “Oroweat Bakery Outlet, Denver” into Google and it brought up several. The one I listed isn’t on there because it is fairly new.
Definately worth checking out! Ask more questions if you have them about the site! Have a great day!
