Deal Finders and Desired Content!

by Danielle on December 13, 2009

We will be doing some traveling over Christmas which means I’ve been making my to-do list and trying to get things lined up so the week of isn’t so crazy busy that I can’t enjoy Christmas.

The biggest thing on my list right now is getting some content ready for all of you.  I want to do some tips on areas that we cut back on expenses.  I also would love to hear your input.  What would you like to know more about?  Do you want more coupon basics, freezer cooking ‘lessons’, recipes, inexpensive activities to do with your kids, etc?  Please leave a comment or email me what types of things you would like to see over the next few weeks.

Also, if any of you are interested in doing a guest post, please let me know!  I would love to have some of my readers share!  If you have a blog, it’s a great way to generate some more traffic.  However, you don’t have to have a blog-just share any great ideas you have for living frugal, free and fun Denver attractions, or anything you think would be great to pass on!

The other thing I wanted to mention was if any of you are out and see a great deal, be sure to send a quick email (danielle at denvermetromoms dot com) or leave a comment.  I love hearing the deals my readers are finding!

I don’t shop at Costco or Sam’s much, but am willing to post any great deals you find.  This goes for any store I don’t cover.  As I mentioned the other day, I will be starting the Safeway match up at the beginning of the year.  I don’t do Walmart because of the prices varying from store to store, however, if you find a great deal-pass it along!  I would love it if you would help and be my ‘deal finders’ especially at the stores I don’t frequently shop!  I’m sure other readers would love it too!

And last, THANK YOU all for following this blog.  I’ve enjoyed it so much the past few months.  I wouldn’t be doing it if it weren’t for your encouragement and the satisfaction of ‘paying it forward’ to help others save money!

Danielle,
I would love to see some recipes that you have made and also some tips on the
frozen meal idea. That is a great idea for working Moms and also stay at home
Moms so they can have more time to spend with their families.
Thanks,
Gail
