Safeway had an insert in the Sunday Paper this week with some coupons for free items! In the middle section there are 12 days of Savings with a free item each day(with a $20 purchase).

- December 14-Free Betty Crocker Cake Mix
- December 15-Free Lucerne Large Eggs
- December 16-Free Hillshire Farm Lil Smokies Smoke Sausages
- December 17-Free Safeway Brown or Powdered Sugar
- December 18-Free 2-liter 7Up
- December 19- Free 5lb Bag Russet Potatoes
- December 20-Free Safeway Breakfast Sausage Links
- December 21-Free Safeway Semi-Sweet Baking Chips
- December 22-Free Mini Muffins
- December 23-Free Safeway Brown n Serve Rolls
- December 24-Free 2-liter Safeway Mixer
Now, unless you live really close and plan on spending $20 everyday, I wouldn’t be running to the store to get these each day. Decide which item you would like free(and factor in its cost) and go that day(s). I would say the higher valued free items are the Hillshire Smokies, Semi-Sweet Baking Chips, and Mini Muffins. Remember the cake mix, lettuce, eggs, sugars, pop, potatoes, and rolls are all normally priced around $1 or less.

my Safeway (SW Littleton/ Roxborough) also had the coupon inserts available at the entrance today. I got the cake mix free today- wish I had needed to do my last minute overpriced shopping on a different day.
