Whew, what a week it’s been. My baby girl is teething and coming down with a cold which means she’s not sleeping well at all. Needless to say, neither am I. Just wanted to update you that I may not be on as much because she really needs me right now and I need my sleep.
We have a big trip coming up, but I have some fun stuff in store for all of you! Be sure to keep checking in over the next few weeks as there will be some exciting changes on DenverMetroMoms.
Totally off topic, but tonight as I was suctioning Abbie’s nose she kept fighting it. Made me think of me as a teenager. My mom disciplined me because she knew what was right for me. I hated it at the time(as Abbie hated the suctioning), but in the long run it was so good for me(and her). Isn’t it funny how we try to fight what is good for us even at a young age only to find out in the long run it was the best thing for us? I respect my mom so much now that I’m a mom. I didn’t like the consequences at the time, but they made me a better wife, mom, friend, and person. Thanks Mom!
Alright, I’m off to bed. Lets hope we get some much needed rest tonight. Abbie is still up and trying to help me type-sorry if there are any extra key strokes in there! Good night!
