This week I only had to grab diapers and wipes before our trip. Since we’ve been gone we haven’t had too many expenses other than gas. I should stay within budget easily this month. Here is what I spent for the week:

Monthly Total $16.73
There won’t be many changes with our budget in the new year. My family is trying to stick with our $40 per week grocery and household budget and a $60 montly eating out budget.
With the New Year stating next week, I strongly encourage you to give yourself a weekly budget and try to stick within it. Start small and don’t compare numbers because your family eats different and has different needs than other families.
A few things to help you stay within a budget are to create a menu plan, shop the sales, and eat what’s on sale that week. If menu planning is new to you, start with one week at a time. Keep it simple and have fun!
