A question on Safeway policy:
In meeting the $20 minimum requirement can I use products that have coupons after you meet the $10 minimum? Does that make sense… in essence if I buy ten dollars of grocerys can I then use the other products like the pop tarts and the peanut butter and jelly towards the $20 miniumum? Thanks for your help…
I believe your total after store savings and coupons has to be $20. The manufacturer coupons come off after as long as your total(after store coupons and shopper card savings is $20).
So say your total was $15.00 and you wanted to add the 3 pop tarts, eggs, milk, and peanut butter. After you gave them those coupons your total would be around $20.50(approx). You should be just fine with that transaction. Let me know if that makes sense and if you have luck at the store. I’ve heard some clerks aren’t as picky about it as others.
