I love looking at blogs and some days spend too much time browsing and reading. There is a wealth of information available, and I love to share it with others!
Life as Mom has a great post today titled, “Why I Want to Live Debt Free.” It’s a great read! Check it out!
It reminds me of all the reasons we choose to live debt-free (except for our mortgage and land). I’m thankful my years of always desiring a new, shiny car are gone(maybe it’s because I never had a brand new one so I don’t know any different!). I’m content driving two older vehicles that are in good shape! We don’t have to pay high insurance or worry about a car payment each month.
I loved this idea for helping the homeless. Jen at Beauty and Bedlam posted last week how her family made care packages for the homeless. I, too find myself not giving money to the homeless in fear they’ll use it for things other than survival needs. This is a such a great way to minister to others! I plan to do it with my family!
*Note-many of the items Jen listed we should be able to get free or cheap! Or use them with these suggests from Carrie!
Carrie at Springs Bargains shared 5 Things To Do with Free Samples. Her tips could save you a lot of money, minister to others, and make your child happy as a clam!
