Just got some deals at lunch with the $5 mega event and Hunt’s tomatoes (14.5 oz. canned varieties) is included, making it 45 cents per can wyb 10 participating items. I added the 45 cent wyb 3 coupon, which doubled, making them 15 cents each! There was a blinkie with 35 cent wyb 3 coupon available as well, which would be 30 cents per can, still a good price I thought! (The blinkie coupon didn’t double.)
Thanks Jen, I’ll be doing a post with some more KS deals tomorrow or Friday.
Hi Danielle -
I just wanted to say thanks for putting the work into this! I got really serious about saving money in January, and i just did my last grocery trip of the month and came in under our budget, and have really stocked up our pantry and freezer with some great deals for later! My husband couldn’t believe it, he thought i was going to be way over budget with all the stuff we’ve bought this month, but we came in under. Your website helps a ton to figure out where the best deals are and how to get them
Thank you!!!
Mandy,
So great to hear! It’s so rewarding-beware, it’s addictive!
Have a great day!
Do you know how many times you can do the 10 item match in one transaction? Can you do 30, and get the deal 3 times? Can you do 40 items and get the deal 4 times?
Thanks for all you do!
Lindsey,
As far as I know as many as you wish. So yes-40 items would take the $5 off 4 times. Have fun!
I was just at King Sooper and noticed that Rotel is part of the sale. After the $5 discount, they are 49 cents. However, there is a blinkie coupon holder next to them that will give you 25 cents off one Rotel; making them 24 cents each! Unfortunately the coupon states “Do Not Double” but 24 cents is still pretty good!
I’m new to the site and use to do the cutouthunger.com and stopped, thinking that Sam’s club was just cheaper. Have you had an comparison with them? And do you know what days are the best days to go to the discount bread store?
I do love your site and your information as it seems to be better a fit for our life with Sunflower market and the other stores!! Thank you, thank you1
Colleen,
Welcome! I haven’t shopped at Sams because I can normally get things cheaper if I pair the coupons with the sales. The key to saving the most is using the coupon on an item when it’s at it’s lowest sale price. The Oroweat Bread Store has a variety of days-I believe Tuesdays and Thursdays are the best-One is Double Punch day and the other is get an extra 10% off your total. Feel free to ask any questions along the way! And do tell your friends and family so they too can save money! Have a great day!
Danielle
