Menu Plan January 31st-February 6th

Another week, another month.  2010 is going fast already! 

Hopefully we’ll stay on track a little better this week.  We grabbed tacos with friends last Tuesday night, had leftovers Wednesday, and then again Thursday.  Friday we enjoyed the shredded beef tacos and tonight we’ll have ham with cheesy potatoes and green beans!-Talk about a complete change to the menu except for Monday night’s manicotti!

Here’s what we have planned:

Breakfast-Sausage Egg Bake, Cinnamon Rolls, Cereal, banana bread, fruit

Lunch-Leftover Chicken Noodle Soup, Salads, Leftover Chicken Fried Rice, tuna salad sandwiches, carrot sticks, yogurt with fruit, pb&j

Sunday-Once again-Carrying over Chicken Noodle Soup.  We ended up ordering pizza last Saturday and had leftovers Sunday

Monday-Spaghetti, salad, homemade bread

Tuesday-Chicken Fried Rice(I have quite a bit of diced/shredded cooked chicken in the freezer to use up)

Wednesday-Corn Chowder(new recipe from one of my favorite books-I’ll share if it’s a success!), homemade bread

Thursday-Leftover Corn Chowder 

Friday-Hamburgers, homemade baked french fries, steamed mixed veggies

Saturday-Chicken Cordon Bleu(from last cooking day-last package), potatoes, leftover mixed veggies

I’m using quite a bit of the items I put in the freezer today for the meals this week.  The nice part with the corn chowder-I won’t have to peel and dice the potatoes because I’ll take some out of the freezer!
