For those of you who are new to Denver Metro Moms and are looking at the past two weeks spending recap-this isn’t the norm! I have over spent because I’ve worked ahead to stock my freezer. Here is what I’ve spent the past week:
Walmart-$37.15 Organic Romaine Hearts, nacho cheese, limes, bananas, roma tomatoes, avocados, tortilla chips, Canola Oil, salsa, red onion, baby wipes, craisins, 2liter cola, sour cream, tampons, paper plates, paper towel, 10lbs potatoes, ice cream, laundry detergent
Dollar Tree $2.12-2 boxes of freezer bags
Target-$4.52-Whole Milk, lots of Oranges, oyster crackers
KingSooper-$1.63 Kraft Cheesex6, Finish Dishwasher tablets, Green Giant Steamers, Orange Juice, Quaker Rice Snacks, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter-I used the remaining $9.50 from transferring a prescription-that’s why the total going to my grocery budget is only $1.63
Albertsons $24.52-3 packs of Petite Sirloin, Chicken Breasts, carrots
Weekly Total-$69.94
Monthly Total-$141.62
I have two weeks left in my budget, a full freezer and about $18 to buy fresh produce, milk, eggs, and bread. I can do it!
