safeway

Here is a list of the best prices I see at Safeway this week.  Remember Safeway is like KingSooper as far as doubling coupons.  That means $.01-$.50 coupons double their value, $.51-$.99 coupon round up to $1.00 off, and coupons with a face value of $1 and up are redeemed at their face value.

If you have the Make it Tonight booklets you can use them with the progresso soup and the rice a roni to make them around .12c each. Pretty good deal.

Thanks for all of this!!!

sorry-just one more questions! How much will you usually stock up with the chicken that low?

Danielle February 18, 2010 at 10:13 am

Amy-thanks for the info on the Make It Tonight-I never did get one of those and actually asked for one yesterday, but they are no longer available.

As far as stocking up on chicken-I’ll grab 3-4 birds. Then I’ll put at least one of them in the crockpot with some seasonings and let it cook on low around 6 hours. I de-bone and shred it then put it into several freezer bags. I use this for soups, wraps, salads, enchiladas, etc.
