If you have a little scientist in your family, bring him or her over to Michael’s this Saturday. From 10am to 1pm families can watch a demo of projects available from Scientific Explorer. Afterwards make a FREE Molecule project using Crayola® Model Magic™. While supplies last.
The next free family event at Michael’s will be March 27th and the kids will be able to make spring projects.
You can also head to Lowes for a free Build & Grow workshop this Saturday from 10am to 11am. This week the kids will be making a LoweBot-a clever car turned robot!
The next Lowes Build and Grow Workshop will be Saturday, March 13th. The kids will be making a tabletop basketball game.
Do you bring your kids to these free activities? Next week you can go to Home Depot or the Denver Art Museum for free-more details to come!

My hubby has taken our son to the Lowe’s program before. They had a blast building a helicopter, and my son got lots of playtime flying it through the house. It was a cute little helicopter and best of all, it’s free!!
Sounds great! Is there an age range limit/minimum??
AM-
I’ve taken my two year old to the Michael’s activities before. He’s still young, but we do a lot of activities at home so with my help he was able to do quite a bit. For the Lowes you’d want them to be a little older-probably 4 and up??
We go to the Home Depot ones every month, the kids love it. I think it is great for their fine motor skills too, learning to hammer tiny nails and stuff. The next Home Depot one is March 6th, they are usually the first Saturday of every month.
