Menu Plan February 28-March 6

by Danielle on February 27, 2010

Well, I didn’t get any recipes posted for healthy snacks.  We ended up making a lot of smoothies and snacked on zucchini bread last week.  I couldn’t find a zucchini bread recipe(mainly because I didn’t have a lot of time) so I just used my favorite banana bread recipe then sprinkled a cinnamon/sugar mix on the top to give it a little crispier outer edge.  I have to say it was pretty good.  I’ll post the banana bread recipe sometime-this recipe is super easy, moist, and delicious!

We got off our menu plan a bit last week, but not too bad.  Here is what I’m planning for this week:

Sunday-Easy Bake Lasagna, Salad, Brownies-double it and bring to a friend who just had a sweet baby boy!

Monday-Tacos/Taco Salads/Nachos-whichever we feel like!

Tuesday-Paninis(shredded chicken, tomato, cheese, honey mustard)steamed asparagus

Wednesday-Chili and homemade bread

Thursday-Leftovers

Friday-Grill Steaks and potatoes(I love thin sliced potatoes with onion and Lawry’s salt in a packet on the grill-I’m getting spring fever already-my husband has had it all winter!) and steamed carrots.

Saturday-Order Pizza In-Usually around $15 for our family then we have leftovers for the next day.

What’s on your menu for the week?  Any new and tasty recipes?!  Feel free to share in the comments or send an email and I’ll do a seperate post for it!

It looks good! I’m happy to see that somebody else eats pizza on a weekly basis too. :)
