If you received the Sunday Paper, you may have noticed the Safeway flier. They have some great coupons available. Notice that some are valid until Tuesday only, but some of the others are valid until next Sunday.
They also had an announcement about the frozen food special in March. Spend $25 on participating products and receive $10 off your next in-store purchase. Carrie from Springs Bargains has some great tips for all of us with this promotion-be sure to check out her post!
I remember being in Illinois last year with completely different stores, but the entire month of March they had some great sales on the frozen food section. We should see some great coupon match ups to go along with the promotion. The $10 off your $25 purchase is like saving an extra 40% right off the bat.
Another thing-When I was there Saturday I grabbed a new coupon booklet. I found mine near the pasta. It’s a Healthy Savings Booklet full of some great store coupons. I’ll try to do a match up of these coupons with sales and manufacturer coupons in the near future!
TELL ALL-Do any of you remember grabbing some great deals last year? Also, which of the coupons and sales from the Sunday flier are you going to take advantage of?
I’m kicking myself for not heading in there yesterday to snag Ken’s Dressing for only $.29. But, I will be stocking up on some $.50 pasta. I’ve started mixing regular pasta with smart taste-so far my family hasn’t noticed!

I was so excited to see the Bounty Paper Towels 12 pack and the Charmin 24 pack that were already on sale for 12.99 with the P&G Sale go on sale in Sunday’s flyer for even cheaper. They are Buy 2 for 9.99 each. Then load up on the ecoupons at P&Gesavers for an additional $3 off each one and then the 25 cent manufacturer coupons for both. Buy a pack of the Duracell 8 pack Ultra use the 1.50 off coupon or regualar Duracell batteries use the 50 cent manufacturers coupon and the the $1 ecoupon and get this all for about $8 when you factor in the $10 catalina that prints off. I rolled mine and my total was 10.80 but that included 5-2 liters of soda pop for 49 cents each. I thought this was an amazning deal. About 25 cents a roll for paper towels and 12.5 cents a roll for toilet paper. This only goes until tomorrow with the catalina according to the tags at the store.
