We’re off to a pretty good start for the grocery and household budget. This is the start of the first week. Thursday I shopped and spent most of next week’s budget, but
King Soopers $8.20-Yogurt, milk(marked down), tortilla chips, hot sauce, 6 kiwi, bananas, snicker & creme egg, cream cheese(most of this stuff wasn’t really needed or planned for, therefore it wasn’t at it’s lowest sale price or paired with a coupon)
Walmart $9.63 Mahatma Brown Rice x2($.49 each after $.55/1 coupons), Yogurt 4 packs x2($1 each), borden cheese slices x2($.88 each after coupon from All You), string cheese, Seapak shrimp poppers x2($1.64, used $1/1 coupons), oreo caksters(free coupon), 200 Cal pizza(free coupon)
Target $3.14 5lb box Cuties(I used a Manuf and Target coupon to save $2)
Target $14-Diapers(Up&Up)
Rancho Liborio $4.14- Roma Tomatoes(1.56lbs), 2 avocados, Red onion, limes, red bell pepper, cucumbers
Weekly Total: $39.11
Monthly Total $39.11

I think I did good this Saturday but not sure so I wanted to see if you can tell me if I did. I got pretty excited about the money I saved but I’m still trying to figure out this coupon thing. I went to King Soopers and bought: Digiorno pizza, Chips Ahoy, Wheat Thins, Daisy sour cream, Sargento Cheese, 2 boxes Go Gourts, 8 pouches of bumble bee light tuna, 2 liter Coca Cola, Listerine, Lady speed stick, 12 roll Quilted Northern, and 2 rolls of pillsbury grands biscuits. My total was $25.32.
At Safeway I bought 2 Suave kid Shampoo, 2 Suave kid body wash, 2 suave body wash and 2 Suave hair wash products (shampoo/conditioner) for a total of $7.73.

I would say you did great! The total number of items you bought at KingSoopers was around 21 so just over a $1 each-good considering all of the items you bought would be well over a dollar without coupons/sales!
At Safeway did you receive a catalina(coupon at register) for money off your next visit?
Yes I did for $1.50 off. But when do I use that again? When there’s another sale?
