This will be a shorter week at home for meals as we’ll be traveling at the end of the week! I’ll be busy packing lots of healthy snacks for the 11 hour car ride and planning meals for the following week. Thankfully the Internet will help me plan my menu for next week-I’ll check the online store ads back in South Dakota before I go shopping. I will also shop the sales here before we leave and fill up the cooler!
Breakfast-Pancakes, eggs, toast, cold cereal
Lunch-Tuna Melts, Grilled Cheese, Wraps, leftovers, fresh veggies & fruit, cottage cheese, yogurt
Sunday-Hamburgers, veggie salad
Monday-Tacos, rice
Tuesday-Leftovers(probably taco salads)
Wednesday-Stromboli, side salad
Thursday-Turkey Burgers, tomato & cucumber salad
Friday-Dinner on the road-usually Quiznos or Subway instead of burgers from fast food chains. I’ll also pack yogurt and fruit for the kids to snack on.
Saturday-Dinner with family in SD
