Oh, this picture cracks me up! Summer fun! We are having a great summer so far! Besides our vacation, we haven’t spent hardly any money on entertainment, but we’ve had loads of fun! Our days have been filled with lots of bike rides/walks, playing at the park, and backyard water fun!
Summer seems to be such a busy time, but it’s by far my favorite time of the year. I love the sunshine and hot weather. Boy, I don’t miss the humidity I grew up with in the Midwest! My hair sure doesn’t either!
Just a few fun backyard activities:
- Water Fights
- Bean Bag Toss
- Slip N Slide(my mom bought the kids one at Walmart for $5-so fun!)
- Family Walks
- ABC Nature Walk-find items outside for each letter of the alphabet
- Your Local Park-I bet you can find at least 2 with in walking distance!
- A Family Picnic
- Fly a Kite
