This is going to sound a lame, but people who don’t coupon often leave behind VALUABLE coupons at the checkout. Sometimes I’ll ask for the coupons from the person ahead of me!

My tip is for school pictures – which are sooooo expensive. Portrait Innovations (www.portraitinnovations.com for a studio near you) is what we use…..they always run a $9.95 promotion. Kicker is they obviously take about 100 pictures so you are enticed to buy the whole package. But stay strong and be frugal. They also only let you use one package per customer per season. So my 8 year old daughter gets pictures in September, my 6 year old son in October (and so on….we make sure to do these every season) There are no sitting fees, so you can have multiple people, bring outfit changes. Also, they are a digital studio and print the pictures for you in about 1/2 hour or so. The package includes One – 10 x 13, Four – 3 x 5s, Two – 8 x 10s, 32 Wallets, Four – 5 x 7s and usually 6 cards with envelopes. A similar package through school is about $50. But if you really want the school pictures, I’ve learned that if you volunteer on picture day for at least an hour, they usually give the basic package to you for free
