If you’ve shopped in Safeway lately, you may have noticed the yellow school bus signs posted throughout the stores.  There are over 2,000 items storewide marked especially for Box Tops for Education!  Safeway is stepping up and helping local schools by giving 10% back to schools on participating items.

Their new 2 Ways 2 Earn program is going on from August 11th until September 14th.  When you purchase items marked with the yellow school bus and use your Safeway shoppers card, 10% of the purchase price will be given to a school of your choice.

Participating in this event is easy and is for a great cause!  Follow these simple steps to participate and help your local school:

  • Check your receipt from August 11 – September 14. The total will be updated each time you shop.
  • Beginning on September 18, a redemption code will be printed at the bottom of your receipt.
  • Visit backtoschools.escrip.com before October 13 to choose your favorite participating local school, then simply enter your redemption code to make your donation.

Has anyone else gotten the catalinas that are good for 25 box tops? I have and I don’t have children. Does anyone do the online thing and would want the codes? I think the box top program is great. I usually save them and give them to my cousin who has two adorable kiddos. They have a contest at their preschool and little Chris LOVES when he wins!
