I am absolutely ELATED to get grocery ads tonight! It has been such a long, long time. Here goes….
This is a great week for stockpiling and freebies at King Soopers. Buying ahead has saved me so much and enables me to get those 80-90% of receipts on a regular basis now. It took about a year to get there but trust me it does work if you are diligent and patient.
In Colorado we get doubled coupons up to $1 so prices wil reflect the doubles.
Gala Apples 5 lb bag $2.99 or $.60 per lb
The cheapest this week is $.49 per lb at Sprouts but if you aren’t planning to go there King Soopers is still a good price. They are $.77 per lb at Safeway. This would be a good week for Crock Pot Applesauce which is basically apples, cinnamon, sugar and my secret ingredient, frozen mango. It is also really good with any other frozen fruit like peaches or berries and it makes your house smell amazing.

Anyone hear of King Soopers changing their coupon policy? When I was checking out the cashier said they were changing their policy and not going to accept internet coupons. She accepted them this time but she said I should check before I used them the next time I shop.
