I had a gift certificate for Babies R Us that I got for free and intended to use to buy more magazines in order to get those $10 off Amazon coupons. Pretty sneaky, huh? Plan foiled since Babies R Us is no longer selling magazines but the cashier was kind enough to give me two free copies of Baby Talk. They also were giving out sample packs of Pampers. Three diapers to a box with a $1 off any coupon inside. You can buy Pampers travel packs near the register for $1.39. I’m not an advocate of spending $.39 on a single diaper but the pack includes wipes and keeping a few of those around has saved me quite a few times. I stopped into Walgreen’s for the Pedicare which was $6.29-$7.49 and used the $5 off in ad coupon and the $1.50 off from Coupons.com and the Coffee-Mate was $2.49 BOGO and I used $.75/1 coupons. I did have to spring for a loillipop (wrapper pictured) but all in all not nearly as painful as yesterday’s Safeway trip. At Walgreen’s the register printed two more $1.50 off Pedicare coupons so I may go back and do the same thing tomorrow. Would have used them today but didn’t want to be a shelf-clearer:).

What happen to your Safeway trip? Safeway has been giving couponer a hardtime lately. They complaint I used too many coupons.
