There were lots of great markdown finds to keep and eye out for. Infant formula was half price (both Enfamil and Similac) as well as Gerber juices. The expiration dates were getting close but it you are planning to use them soon it should be fine. I saw one package of Safeway brand baby wipes marked down to $1.50 and there was a $1 off Safeway baby care a few months back you may have. Tide and Downy were marked down- probably discontinued varieties, half off regular price. The freezer section had several types of garlic bread and Stouffer’s half price. Safeway seems to have a lot of markdowns so I always check those areas. You can usually find free or really cheap yogurt and other dairy items when you use your coupons on the markdowns. I’ll just put it straight into the freezer so there’s no pressure to use it right away. They mark down store brand and Horizon products when they get close to the sell by date. I’ve found biscuits, cookie dough and spreads in that area. In the meat section you can find meat mark downs and ripe bananas in produce for about $.39 per lb.
