This is really a great way to stock up on these items- not only do you get to use coupons but you receive a $10 Register Reward to use on your next transaction. It may confuse some of you that are new to couponing and it does take a little more work to learn how to use Walgreens to your advantage. Remember that a Register Reward is treated like a manufacturer coupon and they usually don’t “roll” which means you do not want to use it to pay for a second round of the same items. If you are using manufacturer coupons on every items you purchase and plan to pay with a Register Reward (RR) you need to exceed the amount of the RR before tax and use an inexpensive “filler” item without an additional coupon to balance the number of coupons and items. Filler items can be anything like a pencil, pack of gum, newspaper, etc.
