I made a quick run into Rite Aid during soccer practice to pick up the free-after-Up-Rewards items. I spent about $8 over 2 transactions and didn’t use any coupons other than the Bayer coupon to get it for free and the Sally Hansen $1 off coupons that made the files $.24 each. Yes- I did PAY for the Nivea but it was the one that has SPF 30 and I usually can’t find those at Safeway and had already used my Nivea coupons there last week.
My general philosophy is to pick one drugstore, learn it’s policies and stick with it. I used to do Walgreen’s and Rite Aid in the beginning and found that I always has expired rewards in my purse. So normally I would just do Walgreen’s but Rite Aid was an easy transaction this week and I planned to “roll” the rewards into buying ice cream. No ice cream (on sale 2/$7) because we ran short on time:(
Not pictured- the enormous pack of gum I bought that I daughter has already absconded with and the box of Mike & Ike’s I had to buy the boy in order to get him to put back a toy. Ten minutes after purchasing those Mike & Ike’s the kids had a fight over them and ripped the box apart (my best guess- I don’t have eyes in the back of my head) and it rained down candy all over the car. I should have just bought the toy!

I would like to hit up Rite Aids more, there are not enough though. I used to go to the one in Thornton sometimes, maybe there in one down south. I plan on shopping in Aurora and Parker, I will be an hour from these places.
