Starting to stockpile just a few items every week wil soon make a huge difference in your grocery budget. Take floss for example. Say you buy 4 packs per month at $1 each. That equals $52 per year. If you start stockpiling your floss and only getting it when it is free (it almost always if free with coupon), your grocery bill is now reduced by $52 per year.
Here are some great floss deals this week:
$0.50/1 Listerine Mouthwash OR Reach Product 7/31/2011 SS Insert (exp 12/31/2011)- I think the basic Reach floss is about $1 at most stores- I’ll usually use this one at King Soopers with doubles to get it free.
$0.50/1 Listerine Mouthwash OR Reach Product 7/31/2011 SS Insert (exp 12/31/2011)
$1.50/2 Listerine, Reach Toothbrush OR Floss 1/9/2011 SS Insert (exp 12/31/2011)
$0.50/1 Listerine, Reach Toothbrush OR Floss 1/9/2011 SS Insert (exp 12/31/2011)
King Soopers has a $1.50/2 Oral B floss ecoupon that should make for very close to free floss during a sale- even better if you cashier lets you stack with a paper coupon when you buy 2 (one coupon per item policy applied to your advantage)
$1.50/2 Listerine Mouthwash and/or Reach Products 7/31/2011 SS Insert (exp 12/31/2011)- this one probably won’t make for totally free but can make basic floss around $.22 – $.25 wyb 2 at Target/Walmart or Kroger. This is still about 75% off what you might have been paying before.
As you can see from my shopping trips I don’t get all wacky and buy 100′s at a time (although it’s tempting- I love clean teeth!) a few with each trip is all you need to have a month or two’s worth on hand. Unless you let your kids use the floss to make friendship bracelets:)
