Head over here to grab your Deal of The Day Ecoupon from Kroger stores. Today’s coupon is $.65 off Philadelphia Cream Cheese. It’s on sale for $1.49 this week as part of the buy 10 sale, or $.84 after ecoupon.
On a side note- I had a massively BAD trip to King Sooper yesterday and am thinking I should boycott them until they revise their coupon policy (aka treating moms like criminals while overcharging us). I found a digital coupon policy here but cannot figure out where my cashier got the form she waved in my face and used for justification for making me put my groceries back in groups of ten because of the sale. I am having trouble coming up with any good scenarios for you to try and don’t want anyone else subjected to the same difficulties. I was informed yesterday that they choose not to accept more than one Internet printed coupon per customer per day. My cashier happened to pretend to scan them and keep them- the amount didn’t come off my bill and she couldn’t be bothered to return them which to me feels like stealing. I am curious if they are still submitted to the manufacturer for reimbursement in these cases. Anyone else need to vent about a recent Kroger experience???

I went to KS yesterday with all four of my children. That in and of itself can be a challenge. Went to check out and as the cashier began to scan my coupons there was a problem all of a sudden with the Moms Best coupon. She said the register said, “Item not found” as she looked over at my boxes. I explained that the coupon is for 2 boxes and I bought two. Then the amount I was paying for them became an issue. I asked her to scan it, she did and what do you know- it worked. I also bought 4 protien bars- using those $.55/1 coupons from the paper. Before she even scanned them she said, “These are not going to work b/c they are going to give you more than the price they are.” (And yes she is one of those that looks over all your coupons before scanning them) “Are these marked down from $.99?” So she scrolled the screen to find that they were $.99 each and says, “I guess since you bought more, it will take care of the 4 cents.” SERIOUSLY??? I have never had issues, except with this cashier. I know that I have to try to avoid her. My store is really good at taking coupons, as long as their are valid coupons. I do believe that if they are not scanning your coupons, you should be watching them to make sure. We do not clip/compare/plan our trips to be a burden on stores- we do this to help our families save money. Thank you for your blog and all that you do. I hope your next trip there is better- maybe you can find a new store.
Thanks for the info. I only shop for myself and use coupons. I will start tracking my coupons redeemed from now on.
Last Saturday when I was at King Soopers, my cashier didn’t want to take ANY of the internet printed coupons. It became this BIG issue with her calling the floor manager and then him calling the store manager. I showed them that I had purchased all of the items per the specifications on each coupon. They asked me where I got my coupons — specifically the ones for the Brawny Towels that came from their Facebook page. In the end, they said they were fine and scanned them all, but it kind of enraged me because they made it seem like I was pulling a fast one. I am a long-time customer of King Soopers and if I experience any more of this, they will lose this customer – plain and simple.
I had the exact problem with Alberton’s. She refused to take my internet coupons.
I was so sorry to hear about your bad experience. They really do tend to make a person feel like a criminal. I go to 2 diff King soopers and they are very strict but nice so it does tend to make the mega events harder. But they are supposed to allow up to 5 internet coupons per customer per day in their coupon policy changed Sep 21, 2011. I hope you have a great experience on your next trip! I have had the bad ones also but I know the good ones and the benefits far outweigh the bad. It really does depend on the cashier and in this situation I would have gone to customer service. I love your blog!!!! Better luck next time:)
Is anyone else having issues loading the deal of the day Ecoupon? It keeps saying internal error for me.
Hi guys, I really like the blog and how helpful everyone is! I never have any problems at the KS on Tower and Hampden. Maybe it would be helpful to share what stores your respective experiences took place? its not like they can sue us for complaining!
Went to King Soopers today and was very disappointed! I was also told I could only use 1 internet coupon per transaction, but that I was welcome to use the other coupons at different registers with different cashiers. REALLY?, with 2 kids that will be so convenient!
