On a side note- there are no fans of PB&J’s in the house but you will see I buy a ton of this stuff. I read an article once about how many young kids go without lunch during the summer when they don’t have access to the free meal programs at school. Spent $24.80 pre-tax and received $.50 off bakery and $1 off produce Target catalina coupon. My husband and kids spent $28 at sprouts on Saturday (great job staying on budget guys!) which leaves us about $22 for the rest of the week or to put aside for buying meat at Sams. I didn’t spend a lot of time on coupons today but am always so dissappointed in how little $25 goes when food shopping. It’s so frustrating! Maybe I just need to make more money or charging my kids for all the chores I do for them- they always seem to have money;)
