I had tried the same thing with the shampoo- no dice.
I actually went to the customer service counter when I saw that even buying two did not trigger the ecoupon to come off. The clerk checked my card and said the ecoupon was still there but b/c the shampoo was on sale for under $2, the ecoupon would not come off. Oh well. Still $.99 for THAT shampoo that is normally $4 is good for me and I love it!!!!
I had the same experience with ecoupons when the coupon value is higher than the managers special price it will not come off. when I emailed customer service they told me ecoupons do not give overage…bummer!
