Kroger/King Soopers

by erica on March 12, 2012

Kroger is offering  new instant win contest as part of their March To Savings promotion.  Play everyday for a chance to win free products then load ecoupons. A word of advise- don’t load any ecoupon that is lower in value than your paper coupon doubled.  It comes off automatically when you swipe your card and you might get stuck with taking the lower value.  For example, I usually won’t load anything less than $1 since that is what most coupons double up to.  There is a $.50 off Tide ecoupon but I know paper ones come out that will be worth $1. There is a limit to how many you can load so keep an eye on that too.

Personally I am pretending King Sooper doesn’t exist right now due to their internet coupon policy so you won’t be seeing a lot of posts about their ads because, really, they are just making it too hard.  If you haven’t been sidelined by it yet be prepared- they claim they will only take one internet printed coupon per day, per person.  Good luck getting in on any of the buy 10 prices. It seems like we are all having the same issues of having to leave half our carts behind at check out these days. Which is especially hard when you have to put back ten items at a time so as not to pay the non-sale price on the one item they will let you use a coupon on. Is it just the shoppers they don’t trust or Coupons.com or maybe the manufacturer too? Grrr! Feel free to vent a little under comments or if you have found a great cashier pass the information along to help everyone else. And trust me, the cashier makes ALL the difference.

I had purchased $64 worth of items, nearly all my coupons were rejected. Some coupons were internet, some from the paper. After having the clerk take off the items they rejected my coupons for, my bill came down to $32. Seriously, get a clue KS!
