Our Trip to Denver Children’s Museum

by erica on June 24, 2012

If you are looking for something fun to do with the kids this week you might want to check at the new Just Add Water exhibit at Denver Children’s Museum. It will be available through August 22 and is worth checking out, especially with the hot days we have been having.  The kids loved splashing and making water shoot from everywhere and it was a nice chance to cool off.
We read online to bring a towel or quick drying clothing but despite being soaked the kids managed to dry pretty quickly.
Even my older child and her friend had fun.
Here they are in an enormous bubble in the bubble room. My little guy was taking this scientific stuff very seriously. There is also a grocery store play area and lots of hands on learning areas.
Given the option, I think Jake would have been happy to play firefighter all day! Families can visit free the first Tuesday of each month from 4-8 pm. There is free parking very close to the building on non-event days.  Thanks so much to everyone at Denver Children’s Museum and ColoradoKids for the great time!  Get directions, hours and details here.

Hurry and get your 2 for 1 Wednesday Nights coupon- expires 6/30/12
