Hey- it’s Tuesday afternoon- what catastrophe will prevent me from doing grocery ads today?
It happened to be the sink clogging- again or should I say as usual? My Darling Husband tends to put things down the drain that don’t belong and then surprise- it backs up. It actually happened a few days ago but he has been busy on another task ( I might mention it when I am calm enough to tell the story without so much cursing!). Any-who- he did fix it today since we were totally out of clean dishes. But, as usual, it was drama. 1) He starts by complaining about all the stuff I keep under the sink and then I say we should have a working sink then I could store things where I use them. Ladies- support me on this one! 2)When he disconnects the pipe under the sink it always gushes out all over the place which is when he will call out for a pan, a billion paper towels and then uses all the clean kitchen and bath towels to sop it up 3) There is a lot of profanity which my pre-schooler relishes repeating 4) When the project is done, the cabinets are soaked and warped, all the products need to be put away, we are out of paper towels and bath towels, I have a load of laundry to do and it all stinks, not to mention the kitchen is a disaster and I can’t get everything back to normal until I dry it all out 5) The leak makes it’s way downstairs so the ceiling needs to be repaired too.
Only this time I am able to graciously state my appreciation and ignore the rest. Why? Because I wrote up a new cleaning plan yesterday and cleaning the kitchen was to be done yesterday but I didn’t get it done. HA! Score one for procrastination. I’m finally starting to get the hang of married life
